Atlanta, Ga. (Aug. 15, 2024) – The LGE Community Outreach Foundation recently presented a total of $20,000 to four nonprofit organizations in northwest Georgia as part of LGE Community Credit Union’s ongoing effort to support local communities.

The LGE Foundation selected four nonprofit organizations that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the credit union principle of “people helping people.” Nonprofits that received a $5,000 donation include ESP Rome, Family Resource Center of Gordon County, Hospitality House for Women, and Voluntary Action Center.

“These donations demonstrate LGE’s belief in the power of community, the importance of service, and a commitment to supporting those who work tirelessly to make their communities better places,” said Chris Leggett, president and CEO of LGE Community Credit Union.

Annually, the LGE Foundation leads a fundraising campaign with the goal of helping give back to the communities LGE serves. Proceeds raised from events, as well as personal contributions given throughout the year, are matched up to an annual maximum by LGE Community Credit Union and donated to local nonprofit organizations, families, or individuals in need.
